Turkey!

Thanksgiving break is quickly approaching and everyone deserves a wonderful break. Three more days of classes and students will reside to live in the Cottages and Towers or will be making the journey home! My break will consist of looking at Graduate schools for Physical Therapy, research paper, and catching up with family/friends and much sleep!

To keep you posted we finished the season as runner-up for the ECAC tournament. Last weekend we hosted the ECAC tournament and Spiedel Gynmasium transformed into a volleyball extravagansa. My cousin was actually on a tour and the parents on the tour wanted to stay to watch the end of the game before continuing with the tour! What fabulous support. We had an amazing season and will miss our two graduating senior, but are eager to work hard in the off season to make it even further next year!

Tonight is the Encore preformance of Orchesis and I will be in two numbers. There are two shows. No worries I will post some pictures!

ECAC Game Today

We found out on Monday that we will be playing Baurch for ECAC's volleyball!! Today is the game at 5pm and we are hosting. We played Baurch at their campus in NYC a couple weeks ago and won. I am very excited for the game and we are ready to play. Varsity Men's soccer also found out on Monday that they too will be extending their season and will be playing at home on Friday for ECAC's. The campus and athletes are eager to cheer on their eagles.

Aside from athletics tonight is the theme dinner. Simmeon Benjamin goes to New Orleans is the theme. Sadly after the game I will be running over to Kolker with one of my teammates to take an Epidemiology exam. Hopefully I will find someone to grab me some food. :)

I'll keep you posted on how we do!

It's Getting Cold!

With most of the leaves fallen off the trees, we are reminded that November has arrived! This is the time where people long to wear their fall jackets when really the wind just rips right through them and a winter jacket would be the best bet.

Aside from weather, all is well at Elmira. With less than half of the first term completed everyone is choosing classes to take for term II. Decisions...decisions. In the works on my schedule is Genetics, some more Organic Chemistry, a little Calculus, and some Nineteenth Century Art. Students are also beginning to sign up for Holiday Banquet and Holiday Ball.

This past weekend for Volleyball we went 2 and 0! Next on our schedule we are awaiting the word to hear that we will be competing in the ECAC tournament to extend our season and bring home more wins.

Attached are a few pictures from our Halloween Doubles Tournament!
